OUR COMPANY:
The business goes back to the early 40's at which time Joe Gannon - father of John Gannon - was extracting material and in fact manufactured and sold concrete products from the early 50's.

Today Gannon Concrete supplies an extensive range of:
- 1962 - John Gannon joined his father farming and supplying materials - the business was taken over by him on his return from Warrenstown Agricultural College.
- 1969 - John began to supply materials on a more commercial basis and bought a tractor and trailer at this time. John bought his first lorry this year.
- 1986 - Began producing readymix concrete
- 1989 - Commenced manufacturing concrete blocks and in the same year purchased a second gravel pit
- 1997 - Manufacturing precast retaining walls commenced
- 2001 - Began manufacturing light weight concrete blocks
- 2006 - Developed a precast base for passively safe road signs
- 2007 - The company expanded into haulage and crane hire
- 2009 - John's son Niall formed Gannon Eco to provide sustainable solution providers for industrial waste streams.
